Unexpected Visit to Medellin Next Week - Advice on Hourly Rooms por USAngler

Greetings from the US I'm unexpectedly traveling to Medellin next week for a 1-2 week stay (probably around March 11 - 22). I'm a longtime monger mostly in Southeast Asia but first time in South America with no Spanish skills unfortunately.

I'll most likely be staying where my host places me so I wanted advice about meeting girls at hourly hotels/rooms in Medellin pertaining to areas, cost, and safety.

In case I can arrange my own private accommodations (ex: guest friendly Airbnb) and keep any valuables locked away, how reasonably safe is it to have girls over to my room from listing from Catador, Prepagos.com, Mileroticas.com, etc?

From my quick preview, it seems most do not recommend girls from the street although I have to admit that street girls have a draw that sometimes is hard to resist. How much of a bad idea is it for some like me taking them to an hourly room? I'm assuming taking a street girl to my own accommodations is a bad idea even if all valuables are locked and out of reach/sight?

Lastly, I am always covered for any type of penetration but enjoy BBBJ (is this what is meant by "natural oral" here?), DATY (cunnilingus), and deep kissing. How risky would you consider these activities with paid service providers of Medellin?

I will continue to read through the forum write ups but if any gentlemen experienced in the Medellin scene can advise, I'd be appreciative.

Many thanks in advance.

What's up, bud? I take it this is your first time to Medellin, so I would definitely take a conservative approach. Playing this wrong can get you killed. With that said, if you take the smart route, the chances are minimal of any bad outcome.

First, I highly recommend you avoid bringing any girls to your residence, no matter how safe your valuables are locked away. The girl could drug you, then convince you to open up your safe or whatever. She could call thugs over and they'll force you to give up your goods. If you meet outside your residence, they can only steal what you have on you, so you're much less of a target.

You're much better off going to an hourly rental motel. Not a hotel, a motel. The word "motel" implies an hourly sex rental. My favorite is Ibiza, but there are others. Take minimal cash and leave your credit cards at your residence. The motels are generally safe as they check id and have a gated entry, i.e. the girl cannot simply steal from you and nonchalantly walk out. There are security cameras all over the place. I feel that for a girl to rob you there knowing she'll only get at most what you have on your person results in a very low probability.

Now if the girl is reluctant to meet you at a motel, walk. If the girl doesn't like the motel you suggested and suggests a motel that she likes, walk. If she proposes that she brings a friend with her for a trio, even if at no additional cost, walk. If anything feels like it's going outside of your initial plan, walk. She might lean on you and get angry or cry, but who cares? You'll never see her again and it's your life we're talking about. Never send her money in advance, even if it's for a taxi. That's a typical scam.

If you are a rookie here, I would definitely stay away from street walkers. You're just playing with fire. I realize that this is a thrill for some guys, but if that's your thing it better be worth it. All risks are higher, from druggings to robbery to disease.

In fact, the safest route is to simply go to a casa. There, the possibility of something truly bad happening is virtually zero, especially if it's a casa that advertises a lot, meaning they have an investment into their reputation and therefore have something to protect. It doesn't mean you'll get good service, but the only thing you will lose is whatever money you chose to give. I've done BBBJ before, which costs extra btw, but only at a casa or with a Tinder independent; occasional DATY. So far no problems. As a rookie, I would definitely stay away from Tinder until I had some considerable time in the country under my belt and my Spanish was pretty solid. Let me say this plainly, you should stay away from Tinder and the apps.

Good luck, brother and report back on your experiences here.

Just checking into to say I have nothing to add, haha.

Neil's advice is always top notch. He has been around a long time and knows what he is talking about more than most.

And yes, we look forward to reading any reports you have. Please also ask any follow up questions.

Many thanks for your valuable advice. I have some follow up for you and others, always appreciatie of your advice and time....

- I have read references made tourists/mongers getting drugged with scopolamine (also called Devil's Breath?). Is this administered in a drink of an unsuspecting target or are there other ways as administering this or other type of drugs?

- How much do these hourly motels cost? Are they scattered through Medellin or congregated in particular areas? Where can I find a listing of these hourly motels? I definitely would not want to go to a motel that one of the girls would suggest so I want to arm myself with knowledge of them, locations, cost, etc.

- I have read reviews here where the service provider is visited at her place and paid upon entering and before services are provided. Is this a fairly safe and standard approach to both visit at her place and pay upon entering? Are these particular providers the ones that list themselves on sites like Pasion Prepagos? What particular term(s) is used by providers that have their own place to visit for service? BTW, I don't know Spanish beyond a few choice words.

- I'm assuming the girls reviewed here on this site are a safe way to go? How about girls advertising on sites like Pasion Prepagos?

- I have read a lot of references to "casas" here on the forum, I'm assuming these are brothels or massage places that provide extras? I've read many references to a place called "New Life Spa", so would this be a casa? What is the price range at these casas? I will continue to read through the English write ups here but if there is a listing of reliable casas, pls let me know.

- I have read about girls providing on premises service in rooms located at strip clubs, is this a safe approach? If so, any recommendations and guidance on cost of service?

I've definitely got the message/warnings about bringing girls back to my room, street walkers, etc.

Many thanks again brother!

Thanks, I definitely will be giving a comprehensive report on this first Medellin trip. We all have benefitted from others' knowledge, experience, and advice so paying it back for other mongers is what builds our unique fraternity.

Just checking into to say I have nothing to add, haha.
Come to think of it, there is one thing I'll add.

1 - Beware of normal taxis, especially around Lleras. Mostly scammers. Just use Uber.
2 - NEVER get into ANY ride (Taxi/Uber/etc) that you didn't order. If she say that she has "her own driver" - RUN. Fast. NO regular puta has her own driver. They just take Uber/Didi/Indriver when they go home anyway.

Like the man said:

Yes, I've read in other places that Uber and Indriver should be the only options apart from public transportation.

Thanks for the tip, much appreciated!

Medellin is not Pattaya, Phuket nor Angeles City. Rules that work there do not apply in South America. You might consider hiring a reputable nightlife guide.

Great questions here. I'll do my best to answer them. You'll see a lot of my answers will point you towards casas. Not that I care, but the logic will lead you that way given what you've told us so far. Neil could tell this right away because most of us are looking for similar things.

tl;dr check out casas like Ellas Erotic, Angeles, Chicas Plus, Eclipse, and maybe Santorini House during the day and leave it at that. It is not really about the house, but rather the girl. Read reviews here and then ask us in this thread. Loutron in the day and La Isla/Fase2 are great too, but no reviews here really.

The best thing to do, whether it is a casa, spa, or individual girl, just put the link below and we can give you feedback if you are having trouble doing a search or are just suspicious.

You can always ping us here if you have future questions along the way.

YOU CAN STOP HERE.

-------

However, since I'll be working on an upcoming newbie guide so this is a good excuse to get some of this written down I tend to be long winded but it is for a reason this time 😂.

IF ANY NEWBIE TO MEDELLIN HAS ANY FEEDBACK ON WHAT THEY WOULD LIKE TO SEE, LET ME KNOW. This will mostly be for somewhat experienced people who just haven't been to this city yet. Experienced guys can chime in too. Is there any resource you'd like to have that would make things easier? A map? A glossary of local terms (as they vary)? Etc. Working on this already but I want to make sure I create stuff that is needed/wanted.

Many thanks for your valuable advice. I have some follow up for you and others, always appreciatie of your advice and time....

- I have read references made tourists/mongers getting drugged with scopolamine (also called Devil's Breath?). Is this administered in a drink of an unsuspecting target or are there other ways as administering this or other type of drugs?
tl;dr for this section: just watch your drinks. and stick to your own plan

People say there are other ways but the sources are not reputable. Usually clout chasing online. One guy put a video out recently that had no proof, no details etc. Also, his story seemed like BS given his timeline and how uppity he seemed just a few hours later. Total crap. I've spoken with MDs who've confirmed that just getting it blown in your face is probably not concentrated enough. And also, food and drink is 100x easier anyway.

So, even if other ways are possible, drinks are the most common way by far. For medical uses (nausea/motion sickness prevention) they use a skin patch which is not practical in dosage OR method for the street.

What people don't realize is that in the overwhelming majority of cases, scopolamine is not necessary. Many girls can simply use benzos. I've heard that usually it is a mix of these in Colombian cases. Benzos are super easy to get for them. Also, the benzos is what usually kills a person. In short: watch your drink. Or don't drink around them. That is what I do. Too many guys want to bring girls back and be cool party boy with two women. BTW, never do that either. I know that Neil already talked about Trios in his answer, too. Want a threesome? Go to a casa (more on that below). Want to drink with a girl? Go to La Isla or Fase 2. Just don't drink too much anyway of course.

The only really scary story I heard is that a guy met a girl who suggested a place to meet up. Good place in a safe area. Turns out she knew a bartender there. He spiked the drink. Probably not much any of us could do in that situation, EXCEPT avoidance. The general rule is that do what Neil advised earlier:
If anything feels like it's going outside of your initial plan, walk.
^^^This. The golden rule would have prevented the above situation.

Example: If I wanted a regular date, I would pick the place. Not her. I would say get there early but don't worry, she will be late lol. When she arrived, I would say that I went inside and didn't like it, then I'd walk with her next door. I'd watch her reaction. Regular girls wouldn't flinch. But I can't honestly say I'd do that because I prefer traditional hookers. Not these new hookers who don't like to think they are hookers, and lie a lot. Sorry, not sorry.

Separately, I think the guy above may have met the girl on Tinder. Which bring up a point you didn't ask: Treat Tinder/Apps like you treat street walkers. With a lot of skepticism. Or just avoid outright.

- How much do these hourly motels cost? Are they scattered through Medellin or congregated in particular areas? Where can I find a listing of these hourly motels? I definitely would not want to go to a motel that one of the girls would suggest so I want to arm myself with knowledge of them, locations, cost, etc.
They are scattered. These first two hotels are truly love hotels. If you take her there, she will KNOW that you don't have shit there. That is in line with Neil's advice

1 - Ibiza (which Neil mentioned) has two locations. You can google "Ibiza Medellin" and see them on a map. Their prices are listed on their site. https://motelibiza.com/ (you have to pick a location first)

2 - Las Cabañas also lists prices on their home page http://lascabanasmotel.com/

--
3 - These are sites for hotels that allow hourly rental. https://www.byhours.com/ - https://www.hotelsbyday.com/

I've heard that Lleras Green was offering hourly a few years ago on their own site. It looks like now they are offering 3/6/24 hour rooms on this other site. https://www.byhours.com/en/lleras-green-hotel-27158.html & https://www.hotelsbyday.com/en/hotels/colombia/medellin-1/lleras-green-hotel seems to offer only 6 hour stays on this site.

All of those above should give you an idea of the ranges.

- I have read reviews here where the service provider is visited at her place and paid upon entering and before services are provided. Is this a fairly safe and standard approach to both visit at her place and pay upon entering?
I've done this every time, though again, we are using well reviewed girls. You can do both of those with a well-reviewed girl. One difference between having her come to your place (domocilio) vs. going to hers, is that in most of the world from what I've seen, and outcall/domocilio is usally 20-25% more. In Colombia it can be 2-3x more. I don't know why. Perhaps traffic, lost time, or just maybe that is how is started and the biz model persists. Some women won't even do them at all as they keep tight schedules, etc.

Are these particular providers the ones that list themselves on sites like Pasion Prepagos? What particular term(s) is used by providers that have their own place to visit for service? BTW, I don't know Spanish beyond a few choice words.
On PasionPrepagos, "Con Lugar" means she has a place. "Hoteles" is that she visits hotels. "(A) Domocilio" is that she will go to your place generally, not just hotels but your AirBnB, apartment, etc.

If you only know a few words, I'd pay up for outcall/domocilio, or just go to a casa. Going to a private house, unless the chick has a TON of positive reviews is hard mode. Start easy.

Also, if she has a ton of great reviews, is hot, has a decent price, she is going to be VERY busy. Also she will have a bunch of regulars and those relationships pay dividends. No reason to put them off for a one-time out of towner. So they are not necesssarily worth trying to schedule on a short trip. I learned that the hard way on my first time there. It took almost 3 days to get a very in demand girl. Worth it? Yeah sure, but I would have planned better if I could do it over again. There are plenty of great girls at casas. And if something happens, there are 10 more there too.

- I'm assuming the girls reviewed here on this site are a safe way to go? How about girls advertising on sites like Pasion Prepagos?
This site? Generally. Look at the reviewer though. Is it a new account? You can click on their profile and look at their history. Their are a few casas like: Candy house, Santas Spa, Rejas Blancas aka Casa Blanca that submit self-reviews (autoreseñas) or just have other people write them for $/benefits. If you spoke Spanish, you'd realize that some reviews are not written like a guy would write and they border on comedy. Like bad fan fiction for 50 Shades of Grey.

You'll notice the people with a lot of activity on the forum almost never say good things about those houses. And in the comments they warn people about it. You will only get positive reviews from new accounts. I know for a fact that some well-reviewed popular girls have gone to work at those places but generally, but that is after the fact. The girls who start there are generally known for either bad service or outright bait-and-switch (cambiazos).

And yes, PasionPrepagos is pretty solid. Though, they have plenty of fake listings too. Also, the houses above definitely advertise on Pasion also. Again, to be a broken record, search their phone number on this site (top right - "Buscar"). You can't just search by name because plenty of popular names are used by 3+ women.

- I have read a lot of references to "casas" here on the forum, I'm assuming these are brothels or massage places that provide extras? I've read many references to a place called "New Life Spa", so would this be a casa? What is the price range at these casas? Yes, generally casa refers to a brothel. Some use spa in the name but are not actually spas. Then you have places with spa in the name which are erotic spas and not full blown brothels. They don't usually do full service but some give legit massages and HJs. Others give BJs full service. Totally depends. Again, don't try to figure out too much on your own. Go with the names above or just put a link below.

For example, "New Life Spa" is a simply a full casa/brothel downtown. Pretty popular with the locals and gringos who like bargains. The other popular downtown location is Zandaly, though there are many more downtown though.

Last I read (in December), Zandaly was 70k for half an hour and 110k for an hour. Don't rely on those prices though. Just send a whatsapp to any casa and they will give you pricing and that day's list for girls. Most have telegram groups too. Whenever I've contacted most casas (and some indepenedent girls) they will have their biz account send and auto reply with their menu/info.

- I have read about girls providing on premises service in rooms located at strip clubs, is this a safe approach? If so, any recommendations and guidance on cost of service?
Absoutely IMO. A safe strip club is like a safe casa. Safer because of the building/business set up They would be FUCKED if some gringo gets scoped in their club. I'm sure it can happen, but no easier than anywhere else. Never let your guard down, but understand you can relax more there than some random girls private apartment for sure.

Their downside with the safe strip clubs is the girl is 'non-reviewed' so you can get shitty service. The other problem for some people is that you are going to pay up for that safety. That is why (broken record, I know) casas are a great alternative.

Costs, so I heard recently that cover was $50k COP and the girls was $600k COP for the girl at La Isla. But one of my very good friends was there a week and a half ago on Sunday the 22nd of Feb. He said cover was $150k COP and the Girl was about $750k COP. I'm not sure if they raised prices very recently or he just paid in USD. Or perhaps he got gringo priced because he can get stubborn and won't take advice. Honestly he was drunk when he was telling me this story. He is still drunk as I write this. He parties hard. I'll get more info when he gets back home.
I've definitely got the message/warnings about bringing girls back to my room, street walkers, etc.

Many thanks again brother!
Sounds great! You are welcome.

Misc links: higher end escort stuff here at this link and discussion here - honestly this is what 90% of gringos are looking for. They don't want a $70-80 girl who is 6-7. They would rather pay up for a 8.5 or a 9.

Man, that was a wealth of valuable info and a great start for a Medellin Newbie Guide, many thanks.

The link provided for "Pretty comprehensive list of casas here" was a non functioning link., appreciate a working link if it's not too involved.

Thanks again.

Prep, I have to say that you've done a marvelous job of laying the groundwork for a newbie guide. Props.

Angler, the only thing that I forgot to mention is that if you are determined to party at home, the safest way to go is with an agency. As Prep mentioned, you will pay more for the domicilio service, and still more because it is through an agency, but if they are reputable then you are unlikely to encounter problems. The agency knows who she is, so she can't just jack you and not cause herself problems. I have used La Celestina with success. The girl will likely perform well enough as she doesn't want to get booted from the agency. Keep in mind that the girl might not be anything special or above the typical working girls. Many of them work in other places and the agency is just another income stream.

A last piece of advice if you're going to meet a girl at a love motel, confirm that the girl is actually on her way before paying for the room. I've had girls bail on me last minute and I'm stuck paying for a room I won't use.

Thanks man. Guys like you and a few others are the ones who taught me in the first place. Definitely put me far ahead and saved me a ton of headaches. I'm happy to pay it forward.

A last piece of advice if you're going to meet a girl at a love motel, confirm that the girl is actually on her way before paying for the room. I've had girls bail on me last minute and I'm stuck paying for a room I won't use.
This last part cannot be stressed enough. Even if they don't bail, they can, and will, show up late. Personally, I've been pretty lucky with this but that is the exception, not the rule.

To be honest, I have scratched off the idea of a girl coming to my room due to what you and Prep have been advising/warning for a Medellin newbie like me at least for this trip. Thanks for the note about confirming the girl is on her way to a love motel before paying for the room, Prep has also reiterated how girls can be flaky or very late in arriving.

Regarding hourly love motels, I've checked out the the links that Prep provided before where you book them online. Are there other hourly motels around that may not have online booking and is just on a walk in basis? If so, how do I recognize an hourly place on the street? Is there any particular word or clues that identify them as such?

Thanks as always.

thanks @prepsupport this is great info. a map just confirming the locations of the most popular casa, or perhaps the telegram group links would be great. the casa are not always obvious on the street so knowing the weird door im about to walk in is definitely the right spot is reassuring lol

The ones where you will be staying probably won't advertise hourly very openly. Sorry. They will be more discrete. Given all of the pressure from the local government, I wouldn't be surprised if they are hiding this deliberately.

But if there is a word they would use, as Neil noted, the word is 'motel' instead of hotel.

The problem with this is that some places that use another world (like hotel) still might also offer hourly. So you'd be missing out on places just looking for 'motel.'

They don't use 'motel' mostly likely because they are not primarily hourly. Hourly is just something they do with their extra inventory. Make sense?

But, if you are absolutely committed to walk-ins, here is what I would do:

Simply do a search on the app. You don't have to use it to book a place. But right now you are looking for names of places with hourly rates, in hard mode.

You have an app that will list most of them. Instead of deciphering street codes. Just look at the app. Also, what if there are a bunch of hotels that offer hourly openly (sign on the street) but don't have availability at the time you want? A bunch of other horny guys are fucking their hookers at the same time you want to. The app can help with that too.

So, once you have a list of hotels, do either or both of the following:

1- Contact the hotels directly in advance. Just ask if they do walk-in bookings for hourly reservations. You can even do this right now as a test. This is the fastest/easiest way. Use a translator if you need to, though many hotels in that area have English speaking help.

2 - If you don't want to do that, go there in person after you arrive. You can probably go to a few within walking distance of Lleras and ask them if they will do walk-ins. This would be super easy too given you will already have a list of name.

For example Lleras Green offers short term stays on the apps. Contact them directly and confirm whether or not you can do walk-ins for hourly reservations, or if they want you to use the apps like byhours hor hotelsbyday. When you arrive, just go a few feet from Lleras Park during the day, walk up to the front desk and ask them.

The reason we don't really have a better answer to this question is because nobody would do it that way. The app is there, so we would use it. Neil might just go to one of the https://motelibiza.com/inicio locations. If you want something closer, http://lascabanasmotel.com offers walk-ins too, though like Ibiza, you would grab an uber to get there.

The problem with walk-ins is they might not have any rooms at that point. So you walk up with a girl Again, that is the great thing about just checking the apps first.

What you say makes sense, thanks. BTW, I found a couple of interesting links for both motels and perhaps places to visit if safe. What are your thoughts about the below two links for motel look ups and potentially interesting places to check out (if safe)?

This was super helpful, you are already paying it back!

MotelNow is solid from what I have heard from people on this site. I think I shared it in an old post, but I thought the site shut down because every time I went to the site I got a "403 forbidden error." No VPN? same. Different browser? same. I stopped trying after a while.

Since you pointed this out I decided to try again I was able to access the site. BOOM! Anyhow, I remember hearing about it years ago and many people vouched for it. Honestly, if that site is working than that is a solid choice to shop for motels OUTSIDE of Poblado.

The downside: well, it is just that. They don't list hourly places in Poblado (other than Motel Las Cabañas), so you will still want to use those other apps for that.

My favorite thing about this site was the map view. Very convenient depending on where your hotel is. If you are in Medellín for a while and want to spend a few days in Laureles, this would be helpful.

A couple other things:
-Ibiza is not available on this site. So if you want to use this site directly, Golden suites is your next solid choice for closeness.
-Kuboz may be decent, but I honestly can't remember.
-The good thing about all of these are that they are further away from the tourists/mongers, so you probably won't run into the issue of no availability. And if you do, most have another motel close by. So that is a bonus. You will mostly likely be able to walk-in to most of these from what I understand.

Looking through the list reminded me of some names in Laureles (in case you need these)
-Golden Suites (again) in Laureles was pretty popular before.
-Hotel Ofix was not only popular, but I read that a few girls actually work out of there. Not sure if this is still the case.

Two more:
-I did not see Hotel San Juan 70 on there (not to be confused with Kuboz Suite 44 San Juan), but worth checking out as sometimes their 24hour price is really cheap and may be worth using the room to bang 2-3 in a 24 hour period. Just like Ofix, a few girls worked out of there in the past.
-Also not on the map, but if you are by estadio, Villa Park used to do hourly. Not sure if they still do.

Guiacereza: glad you sent this too

I used to check them out from time to time (for YEARS) but they NEVER seemed to update it so I stopped trying. It is still slightly out of date but has been updated from the last time I was there, so here are some thoughts.

A couple names on guiacereza that are not on MotelNow, and that I have heard about before are:
-Ibiza (mentioned earlier)
-Thematic Luxury and Motel Thematic Suites. I would choose Thematic Luxury since it is even closer to Poblado than Golden Suites.

A separate note: I wouldn't guiacereza for anything else
-Most of those listings are swinger/gay/out of business/bad service/outright ripoff/etc
-I have heard good things about some of the Bendito Masaje providers, but others have bad reviews. The same could be said for the rest, if not worse.
---Tantra double charged a guy and wouldn't remove the charge even after it was pointed out
---Fantasías Energy (Now Chicas Energy) had a bunch of mediocre girls when I was there.
---Oasis was an outright ripoff accoring to a few reviewers
---Jade was overpriced and bad service in other reviews
---Etc, etc.
