Bringing Epipens into clubs/establishments?

Hey guys,

I'm about to make my first trip down to Colombia in a couple of days. Super excited! One thing is though, I have a food allergy... which even though it's almost never a problem, means that I have to have Epipens on me at all times.

Any other mongers in here who carry Epis? My main concern is going to clubs like Fase II, La Isla, Loutron, etc with them. Will I be patted down before entering the clubs? If so, do you think it's likely the bouncers would make a scene over the Epipens, or would they know what they are? Basically, if they won't let me take them in, then for my own safety I just wouldn't be able to go in .

I don't speak Spanish so I'm a bit worried about whether or not this will be a barrier to certain activities. Curious as to how I'll be able to navigate this situation.

Yes you will be frisked, i had pepper spray on me, but i was able to check my bag in with security. I doubt you will be able to bring anything sharp you could stab a girl with to your table.
