If you have most of the basic phrases down in Spanish -- hello, how are you, I am very good thank you please blah blah -- then you can just use a phone translator for the rest. These women want your money, not to get swept off their feet. Using a woman reviewed recently is probably a better idea than going kamikaze (sight unseen).
Unless you're on a time crunch, I would recommend avoiding extended hour dates until you've been with the girl at least once. If you want maximum security, extended hours, and someone showing up on time, use an agency. More $$ but if those are your requirements. I used La Celestina once. Everything worked out and I would repeat.
Personally, I just hit the casas and, if I want to branch out, actually use Tinder. I would not recommend Tinder to you until you have some time under your belt in this country, like at least a year. Entirely different conversation, but seriously, don't get tempted. Stay off the apps.
Neil is totally spot on.
Thanks buddy! That's a really good advice! But once in a while i want someone for like an overnight as in like 5-6 hours. I am not sure if i would feel relaxed at brothel/casas. And would i be ok there without Spanish?
But as you said, I will definitely try to limit the access to my private info.
To add to Neil's post:
You can do an overnight in a love motel too. It doesn't have to be in your own hotel. And I don't know of any casas that let you do overnights at the casa anyway. They don't stay open that late.
The casa experience is weird for most for the first time or two, then you quickly adjust. Hell, many people still get nervous. What you should really be nervous of is having a strange girl in your room overnight, hahaha. That should be the least relaxing situation of all. All the more reason to go to well reviewed casas with a well reviewed girls. Speaking of...
Do you think its a bad idea to visit someone from the recent reviews section?
No. It is a great idea. Especially if she has multiple reviews. And ideally from people who have a lot of posts/reviews/etc. As always, YMMV so you should try out a few before you pick a girl for an amanecida.
Hello, welcome to the forum, and I'm glad to see you're planning your first trip! I'll try to answer your questions one by one:
Getting around: Most people use Uber or InDriver (another popular travel app in Latin America). They're safe, affordable, and easy, even if you don't speak Spanish. If you're feeling adventurous and comfortable on two wheels, some rent scooters, but I recommend choosing a car for your first trip.
Language Assistance/Guide: This is completely understandable. Some experienced members offer local guide or guide services, sometimes for a fee, sometimes just to help out. You can post a request in the Travel Buddies or Local Contacts section and be clear about your dates and expectations. You may find someone willing to help you or at least direct you.
Hotels: You don't need a luxury hotel to be safe. Look for places that are welcoming and have good security. Read hotel reviews at your destination; they often comment on whether the place is discreet, safe, and welcoming to guests. If you tell us the city you're visiting, we can recommend some hotels you might like.
I hope this helps, and don't hesitate to ask more questions. Many of us have been in the same situation; this forum is a great place to find solutions.
Also solid advice regarding these topics.
Summary ideas:
1. Look at the forum for well reviwed casas/girls.
2. Try a few out. For ease, just to to the casa. Use Uber/InDriver.
3. If you still don't feel like going to the casa, or if you have already went to the casa to try a few out and now want to do a amanecida/overnight:
a. Use a love motel like Las Cabañas in Poblado or Hotel Golden Suites in Laureles.
b. Do it your hotel. Of course by this point you have read the advice above for choosing a hotel. So you are at a safe/clean place with good security.
4. Again, don't do amanecidas with girls you haven't been with. And don't be with non-reviewed girls, even for short sessions. Going kamikaze is advanced level and you seem like you don't want advanced level shit.
5. OPTIONAL: Use a language/assistance guide if needed. It might be cool just to have somebody travel around with at first. Though most of the things you will be doing should be safe enough to not need a guide. And he won't be in the room translating for you either, haha. If you have the $ and want things to be convenient, then not a bad idea.
