The brothels and strip clubs have lots of good talent. Strip clubs are more expensive. Stay away from street girls in Lleras and elsewhere. And beware of tinder and other apps. Pay to play is the best play for safety. If a regular girl you meet wants to go back to your place after meeting and she’s not a working girl, 99.9 percent you’re being set up for something nefarious. The reviews in here are a good way to find the better options. Have fun.

2) Avoid showing money, try to be as stingy as possible. This will prevent them from seeing you as an ATM and taking advantage of your ignorance of the places you visit.

3) No matter how pretty you think a woman is or how good you have felt about her, do not invite her to the place where you are staying. Don't give them gifts either, and don't overpay. When you contact them, do it in Spanish through whatsapp, this will prevent them from giving you a different price

4) Try not to make personal ties with any girl. It doesn't matter how much someone says they fell in love with you hahah.

RE Spanish comprehension: yeah, you just need the repetitions. might be worth it to hire a local teacher to give you a crash course on common sayings, phrases, etc. and get some practice in. disguising your pricing talk as if you were asking about things while shopping or eating in a restaurant (how much, what's included, etc hahaha)

Contact method - for casas I'd try to whatsapp ahead of time to see if a girl is working that day. You can tell them you are on the way, but even if they make an "appointment" they girl might not be ready when you get there. To be fair, they don't know if you are going to show up and many Colombians are flaky. Hell many gringos are flaky when it comes to this stuff too. At best, they are not very prompt. The only way to get a real appointment is to do a domicilo and that is much pricier. And she still may show up late.

For stripclubs, definitely don't do any advanced contact. I even had the personal cell phone numbers of two girls and they were super flaky and did not answer much. I was super to the point but still nothing. Was a giant waste of time. La Isla has a ton of hot girls. You can just show up and take your pick. Since I can't read reviews of those girls, I like to talk to them for a bit too, even if I have to buy one overpriced drink for them. If they seem pushy at all I eject. She better have a great attitude or I'm moving on. Too many girls to waste time guessing. I'd rather waste a few bucks on a girl drink than a dead lay.

This is part of what Colombians warn us about. Yes, they don't want us to fuck up the market for them, but you already understand that. But part of their point is that it doesn't even make sense in the first place.

My thinking is this: given that many items are a la carte for many girls in Colombia, I feel that if she wants more money, she can offer more services (COB, COF, CIM, etc. - by the way, make sure to negotiate that stuff to in advance too, just like MSOG or BBBJ).

Still some girls are hustlers of course and will still ask. If she asks for a tip, I'll tell her I only tip/give extra for (whatever service she denied me) and then I probably won't be back.

Better. Those girls are fine in generally, but stick to well reviewed girls. You can do a phone number search on this forum. Name searches work too but you have to dig a bit more. Be aware that the worst scammers change #s and names.

I can't blame anyone for checking out street girls but for most guys here, there are just WAY too many solid options of well reviewed girls who are not only safe, but that you can be almost certain that they provide good service as they are well reviewed.

Remember, you can always do extended sessions with a casa girl too. Most people here never do more than 1/2-1hr on the 1st cita. Just too many chances for disappointment. Visit an independent girl or casa girl 1st. If she is great, get her # for a longer session at your hotel. Not all of them will go for this, but worth a shot. You can book an amenecida through a casa in certain cases, but that seems too pricey to me.

I've had good experiences at Angels Spa (lots) and Chicas Plus. Bad experiences at Ellas Erotic and their sister club Elixir Purpura; by reputation I know that La Castellana is both dangerous and a huge ripoff.

Re picking up a girl who is not working in a casa (Tinder, Parque Lleras), I would definitely bone up on both my Spanish and experiences in the country first before graduating to this level. Plenty of fun can be had at a good casa.

But if you are determined or want to keep notes for the future, meet the girl at a love hotel. I recommend Ibiza, but there are several here. These are not customary hotels, but are instead designed for people to securely have sex. The doors to the rooms are opened only by remote control from the front desk. They check ID if the girl looks young as they do not want any sort of child sex crime going on in their hotel. Time is rented in six-hour blocks, so no one stays here for mulitple days, i.e., she knows you won't have all of your luggage and money in the room. Even if she thinks to drug you, as the renter of the room, you have to pay for the room and call the front desk to open the room's door anyway. She wouldn't be able to leave without a lot of explaining and suspicion.

Never let the girl choose the hotel. Bonus points for using a burner cell phone that does not have any sensitive information like banking apps, crypto, etc. Bring cash only. Suerte, bro.

Time is rented in six-hour blocks, so no one stays here for mulitple days, i.e., she knows you won't have all of your luggage and money in the room. Even if she thinks to drug you, as the renter of the room, you have to pay for the room and call the front desk to open the room's door anyway. She wouldn't be able to leave without a lot of explaining and suspicion.

Never let the girl choose the hotel. Bonus points for using a burner cell phone that does not have any sensitive information like banking apps, crypto, etc. Bring cash only. Suerte, bro.

I never used a love hotel but people on the forum talked about them a while back and had one or two recs in each barrio. I can't seem to find the links. I know some gringos have used https://www.motelnow.com.co/ to find short terms hotels but again, I don't have current info.

I think I remember them mentioning "Golden Suites" and "Villa Park" in Laureles but I can't remember if anybody vouched "Las Cabañas" in Poblado. I'll take @Neil Macauley 's word on Ibiza, of course. Hotel Paradise Lleras was another one in Pobaldo that I read about, but again, if anybody has better info that me on these places, please let us know.
